Specialising in Red Polled Brahmans
In 2006 we, Reg Christiansen and Gabrielle Keating, purchased a 100 acre country lifestyle change property to escape the madness of city life.
We are a 20 minute drive to Noosa’s Hastings Street and 4km to Lake Cootharaba at Boreen Point, where we take the boat out for a sail when we have some time off.
After buying our first little Brahman – Napoleon, we recognised the breed’s suitability to the Queensland climate, with easy calving, pest resilience, and popularity.
We decided that Brahmans with their perceptive intelligence, charming looks and temperament that responds well to our care, were the most suitable breed. We loved the rich colours of the Reds and subsequently, in 2008, bought our registered bull and four heifers. Our current bull, ‘Palmvale Nusa De Guisando’ is the progeny of Palmvale Tabasco and Palmvale Miss Dominic.
In 2009 we welcomed our first progeny (calving ease no. 1) and have continued to improve our herd and dynamics by purchasing quality heifers from other registered studs.
Whilst we are only new and rather small we are very keen to deliver quality, placid and functional Brahmans to our customers. We enjoy the challenge, the lifestyle, and contributing to all things BRAHMAN.
We hope to be able to assist you in building your own polled herd. Please check out our family album.
